He has a frail constitution and shows signs of a nervous demeanour. After a few years in Baldur’s gate he has managed to build up a good reputation to be known as a trustworthy individual amongst the merchants and the guilds along the sword coast.
Talisid was a senior student under master Arklem in the city of Myth Drannor until its demise at the hands of an invading army of demons.
Talisid and his master were in the portation room in the midst of a volatile teleportation ritual when a red dragon flew overhead. It was a short while afterwards that his master was called away, unbeknown to Talisid too try secure the prison of the three demons. With his master absent it was left to him to complete the portation ritual, if the portal were to collapse it would cause irrevocable damage.
The last clear thing he remembers was a distant release of magical energy and 3 large shadows passing through him casting a dread through his being, this broke his confidence and he struggled to complete the spell. Eventually the ritual was successfully and safely completed but it came at a cost, Talisid had flung himself through the portal as a sacrifice and was expelled to a different time and a weakened body.
He was later found on the road to Baldur’s Gate by a group of Merchants, here is where he managed to recover and establish himself in the community.
He is now well known in Baldur’s gate as a wizard and hires himself out to mainly merchants which require his speciality, which is travel magic’s, a commodity highly sort after by merchants.
